This typically happens when downloading a DMG through Firefox on Macintosh. Please try downloading the DMG file through Safari instead.
To do so, highlight the download link and then copy (CMD+C) and paste (CMD+V) the link into the address bar in Safari. Press RETURN to start the download.
The following disk image(s) failed to mount, 'not recognized.'
