The error can happen when trying to activate Screenwriter or Dramatica Story Expert on a Mac.
- Press the QUIT button
- Restart your computer
- Re-run the "Activate and Register..." app located in the application's app folder to activate your software.
- If that doesn't work, turn off your antivirus/security apps, such as BitDefender, Norton, Kaspersky, etc. and repeat steps 2 and 3. Once your software is activated you may turn the antivirus/security apps back on.
