There are several ways to uninstall Screenwriter and return the installation credit, depending on which version was used to install originally.
Make sure you are connected to the Internet before uninstalling.
METHOD #1 (Recommended)
Windows 7 and Vista:
- Click on Start > Control Panel.
- Under the Programs sub-heading click on Uninstall a Program.
- From the list, select Movie Magic Screenwriter and click Uninstall on the top toolbar.
- Follow the on-screen steps.
Windows XP and 2000:
- Click on Start > Control Panel.
- Double click Add or Remove Programs.
- From the list, select Movie Magic Screenwriter and click the Change/Remove button.
- When prompted, select Remove and click on the Next button.
- Follow the on-screen steps.
METHOD #2
Some of the original Screenwriter CDs place the uninstall in a different location. If the program does not appear up under Add or Remove Programs, use the steps below.
- Click Start > (All) Programs > Movie Magic Screenwriter > Uninstall.
- Follow the on-screen steps.
METHOD #3
- Click on Start > Computer (My Computer in Windows XP and 2000).
- Double click on Local Disk (C:) to open it.
- If you see the Movie Magic Screenwriter folder there, double click to open it. If you do not see it, double click on Program Files first.
- Inside the Movie Magic Screenwriter folder double click on Uninstal.exe to start the uninstall process.
- Follow the on-screen steps.
