Do I always have to have the CD-ROM in to run Screenwriter

Movie Magic Screenwriter 4.01d and above do not need a CD to run.  Hollywood Screenwriter always needs a CD to run.  You may need the CD-ROM in your machine to launch Screenwriter 2000 (4.x) (Once the program is running you can remove the CD.)

You can run Movie Magic Screenwriter without the CD-ROM if you have an Internet connection. Movie Magic Screenwriter version 4.01d (or higher) allows you to register your information through the Internet with our database. Once you are registered our database will send a validation credit to your hard drive so you can run the program without the CD-ROM.

Movie Magic Screenwriter can be validated up to three times using this process. The license agreement specifies that you can use the two extra installs as backups or to install Screenwriter on your other computers. To make sure you do not lose a validation credit, you must uninstall Screenwriter. Through the uninstallation process one credit is reallocated to our website so that you can use it again on another computer. To uninstall Screenwriter, please follow the directions below.
