How do I install/run Movie Magic Screenwriter on Windows Vista?

The Screenwriter CD menu does not work under Windows Vista. In order to install the program, you will need to run the Setup manually.

I have a CD - Follow all steps listed below.

I do not have a CD (downloadable) - Install the program first, then start at step 7 below and follow the steps to the end.

1. Insert the Movie Magic Screenwriter CD-ROM.
2. If the Autoplay menu comes up, choose 'Open Folder to View Files.'
3. If the Autoplay doesn't come up, click on Start > Computer, then right click on the drive that shows the Screenwriter CD and choose Explore.
4. Double click on Setup.exe.
5. Click 'Allow' on the Account Control dialog.
6. Proceed with the on-screen steps to finish installation. If the program wants to open automatically, cancel out of it.
7. Right click on the "Movie Magic Screenwriter" icon on the Desktop and choose Properties.

     8. Click on the Compatibility tab.
     9. In the "Privilege Level" section, check the box labeled "Run this program as an Administrator".

      10. Click OK.

The program should now function normally.
