Screenwriter gives the user the ability to change the format of a file on the fly.
- Open your existing file.
- Click Format > Load Styles from..
- Choose to load styles from a Template or an existing Screenwriter document.
- Select the template from the templates folder or document from which you wish to copy the styles (e.g. Screenplay, Sitcom I, etc.).
- The Options for Loading Element Styles will open display asking to load User Lists and other document specific variables. The default is to load all of the variables from the source template. Modify the options, if necessary. Click "Continue loading Element Styles" to copy the options and styles into your document..
Your existing file will now use new the formatting and margin settings.

Screenwriter gives the user the ability to change the format of a file on the fly.
- Open your existing file.
- Click Format > Load Script Formats.
- Choose the format you wish to covert the file to (Screenplay, Sitcom I, etc.). You can also choose to load a format from another script by choosing From Screenwriter Script or a User Defined format.
- A window will display asking to load User Lists. Click Yes if you have not edited your user lists or are not sure.
- A window will display asking to confirm the change in margins. Click Yes.
- Another window will display asking to load User Lists. Click Yes if you have not edited your user lists or are not sure.
Your existing file will now use new the formatting and margin settings.
