How do I stop Screenwriter from opening the last file I worked on?

This feature was intended as a convenience and can easily be turned on/off.

WINDOWS

1. Go to Tool > Options.
2. Click on the Startup/Files tab.
3. Under "When Screenwriter starts, it should", select Leave you in a Blank Script or one of the other options.

MACINTOSH

1. Go to Screenwriter > Preferences.
2. Click on the Files tab.
3. Under "When Screenwriter starts, it should", select Leave you in a Blank Script or one of the other options.

This feature was intended as a convenience and can easily be turned on/off.

1. Go to File > Program Options.
2. To the right of the Program Options window, click the Startup/Files button.
3. Under "At Startup of Screenwriter, it should", select Leave you in a Blank Script or one of the other options.
