In a production/locked script, if there have been numerous revisions on one color, there may be the need to re-issue a full color script (e.g., full BLUE).
FOR MOVIE MAGIC SCREENWRITER 6+
Click File > Save As and save the file under a different name, so that you can go back to the original if necessary.
- Click Production > Unlock the Script.
- Type Unlock to confirm.
- Uncheck ONLY Page Breaks.
- Click the Entire Script button.
- Type YES to confirm.
- A window will come up asking if you want to issue a completely new 'BLUE or PINK' draft rather than going back to WHITE.
- If you want a new draft color, click Yes.
- If you what a WHITE draft color, click No.
After you click Yes or No, Screenwriter automatically performs the following...
- Unlocks all page breaks, thereby repaginating and turning all pages into full pages and getting rid of all A-pages.
- Relocks the page breaks in according with its locked script status.
You now have a re-issued full color (or white) script draft.
FOR MOVIE MAGIC SCREENWRITER 2000 / 4.x
Click File > Save As and save the file under a different name, so that you can go back to the original if necessary.
- Click Production > Unlock the Script. Type YES to confirm.
- Uncheck ONLY Page Breaks.
- Click the Entire Script button.
- Type YES to confirm.
- A window will come up asking if you want to reissue a full script. Click Yes.
When you click Yes, The program will automatically perform the following...
- Unlock all page breaks, thereby repaginating and turning all pages into full pages and getting rid of all A-pages.
- Relock the page breaks.
You now have a re-issued full color script.
