This is a known bug in the Mac version of Screenwriter 6 that happens when opening a file saved on Windows. We hope to fix in a future version. However, the work-around would be to override the incorrect scene number.
- Place your cursor in the scene heading that follows the omitted (the one with the incorrect number).
- Click Production > Override > Element's Numbering.
- Choose the number you wish the scene to actually display.
- Click OK.
