How do I export my document in Screenwriter 6 so that someone with Final Draft can open it?

FOR MOVIE MAGIC SCREENWRITER 6.5 for MAC

• Open your document in Screenwriter 6.5.
• Use File < Export to > Final Draft XML (.fdx.
• Give the file a name.
• Make sure to save the file in a location that is easy to access (like the Desktop).
• Click OK/Save.

Now, you can give that file to a Final Draft 9 or 10 user and they can open it into their program.

FOR MOVIE MAGIC SCREENWRITER 6+

1. Open your script in Movie Magic Screenwriter.
2. Click File > Export to > Rich Text Format (.RTF).
3. Make sure to save the file in a location that is easy to access (like the Desktop).
4. Click OK/Save.

Now, you can give that file to a Final Draft user and they can import it into their program.
