This is a known issue with the Microsoft Text-to-Speech engine. We are working toward a fix in a future version. Unfortunately, there is no work-around at this time.
This problem is fixed in Screenwriter 6.
When I edit a pronunciation of a word in Text-to-Speech (speak text) in Screenwriter 2000 (4.x) it says "Floating Point Error".
