If, when opening your document, it no longer shows the correct page length/count or margins, it means that the paper size was changed for the printer, most likely in a different program. Therefore, the program is now formatting the margins against that new paper size.
To correct this, click on File > Printer Setup and choose the correct paper size. If prompted, click Yes to repaginate the document to the new paper size.
If you receive any errors while trying to access File > Printer Setup, please do the following:
- In Windows under Start > Control Panel, make sure the default printer is set to the actual printer you are using and not something like a fax or Microsoft Document ImageWriter.
- If the correct printer is set as the default, you may want to try deleting the settings file for the program, if it's become corrupt.
(See General troubleshooting tips for Screenwriter 6 (Windows)) - The printer driver itself might be damaged. Delete the printer from the control panel and reinstall your printer's software. We recommend downloading the latest driver from the printer manufacturer's website.
