*First, export your file from Celtx as a text file and save it somewhere easily accessible, i.e., Desktop or Documents folder.
To import that file into Screenwriter:
- Click on File > Import.
- In the window that comes up, choose the location where you saved the text file, e.g., the Desktop.
- At the bottom of the window, from the Files of Types dropdown, choose Text (.txt).
- In the file list, select the text file you exported from Celtx.
- Click Open.
- On the "How Should I Interpret this text?" window, click OK.
You script is now imported into Screenwriter 6 and should need minimal cleanup. Make sure to click File > Save to save the document as a Screenwriter Document (.mmsw).
