"Screenwriter 6 has quit unexpectedly" after using the program for a few minutes (Macintosh only).

If you are experiencing the program quitting repeatedly after working for only a few minutes, there is a permissions problem with Screenwriter's preference folder.

Please do the following:

1. With the Finder running, open your Home (user) folder by clicking Go > Home from the menubar at the top.
2. Open the Library folder.
3. Open the Preferences folder.
4. Highlight (single click!) the Movie Magic Screenwriter 6 folder.
5. Click on File > Get Info (CMD+I).
6. Open the Sharing & Permissions section near the bottom.
7. Unlock the padlock by clicking on it, and then enter in your Mac system password.
8. Click on the plus (+) button.
9. From the list choose Administrators and click on Select.
10. Set the Privilege for "Administrators" to Read & Write.
11. Click on the Gear icon.
12. Choose Apply to Enclosed Items and click OK.
13. Lock the padlock and close the window.

Screenwriter 6 should now run properly without quitting unexpectedly.
