If you've been trying to figure out how to resize the main document window in Movie Magic Screenwriter 6 or 6.5 on the Macintosh -- don't fret. It's not your fault.
Not so long ago (OK, like 8 years ago) all windows on the Macintosh resized from the lower right corner only.
Screenwriter (presently) will not resize from the window edges, like most MacOS programs.
Alright, I get that -- but why aren't my window size changes saved?
When you open a document, the size and position of the editing window is remembered. If you resize the window, and you want to save that new size (including zoom percentage / screen magnification), then you need to SAVE the document. HOWEVER -- making view changes, like resizing the window do NOT mark the document as needing to be saved. So you need to make some change -- any change -- in order to be able to save the document and the window size changes you've just made.
