We recommend using the .mmsw file format for maximum compatibility.
If you use the .mmsw file format, it is completely transportable between PC and Mac, 6.0 and 6.5.
The only native Screenwriter file format that is NOT directly transportable is the Mac Screenwriter 6.5 .mmx file format, though you can always save a .mmx file as a .mmsw file in Screenwriter 6.5 if you want.
You may also export to .scw (Screenwriter 2000/4.x) file format, though you'll loose all 6.0 features, such as outlining, note categories, and some production features.
