What if Word Menu is missing a word?

If Word Menu is missing a word, we want to know about it. Use the Suggest a word command, located in the Help menu, to report these words to us.

There may be many reasons why the word is missing:

1. Editor error. Although Word Menu has had dozens of specialists edit technical categories, the word may have been overlooked.
2. New word since latest edition. Initial versions of Word Menu are based on the Random House book, and the word came into usage since the most recent print publication. We are working to add all the new words we can locate since the last publication, so your suggestions are welcomed.
3. No category for the word. There may not have been a category for the word. When you suggest the word via the Suggest a New Word command, you'll be able to propose a category, as well as a definition.
4. Word was removed from the print publication, due to space limitations. When Stephen compiled the first edition of the book, there were space limitations which may have caused some words to be eliminated. Since an electronic product has no such limitations, we are in a continual process of reviewing the categories and their contents to find what words might be missing.
