This is usually a conflict caused by something running in the background in Windows. Most likely it's one of the items near the system clock that start up automatically when the computer boots up.
Before installation:
- Click Start > Run.
- Type "Msconfig" and click OK.
- Choose “Selective Startup” if not already chosen.
- Uncheck “Load Startup Items”.
- Click OK. It will prompt you to restart--go ahead and do so.
- Try installing again.
After installation:
- Click Start > Run.
- Type "Msconfig" if it's not already there and click OK.
- Put a checkbox in “Load Startup Items”.
- Click OK. It will prompt you to restart--go ahead and do so.
