This happen in Windows Vista, when closing the program, the Vista User Account Control (UAC) is on, and the program has not been configured properly. It can also happen on Windows 10 (or other versions of Windows) when the program is not set to "run as administrator".
- Right click on the Dramatica icon under Start > All Programs > Dramatica Pro > Dramatica Pro 4.0 or on the Desktop if you created one there.
- Click Properties.
- Click on the Compatibility tab.
- At the very bottom, check the box labeled Run this program as an administrator.
- Click Apply.
- Click OK.
The program should close without the error.
