Did you just move all your files to a new Macintosh, or update your version of macOS, and now Screenwriter 6 or 6.5 will no longer run? Below are some common reasons why, and their solutions:
I just transferred my files to a new computer running macOS 10.13 High Sierra OR upgraded to macOS 10.13 High Sierra
Most new Mac computers come with the latest version of macOS pre-installed. Presently, that means macOS 10.13 "High Sierra". High Sierra requires upgrading to Screenwriter 6.5, specifically 6.5.2.54 or greater.

I just transferred my files to a Mac running macOS 10.10 "Mavericks", 10.11 "Yosemite" or 10.12 "Sierra"
You have the option of running Screenwriter 6 or the Screenwriter 6.5 upgrade. In either case, you should download and re-install the version you have a license for. Not sure which? Screenwriter 6 has a serial number that begins with "SCRW0600", and Screenwriter 6.5 has a serial number that begins with "MMSW".
